About Us

MATHx fosters a special philosophy. One that involves reaching excellence. We believe in perfection through hard-work and determination.

We’re a group of students from the nation’s greatest high schools dedicated to enhancing younger minds, improving their mathematics knowledge, and preparing them for the joy and rush of competitive math. We made it our mission to educate others and help them get where they want because we feel that similar role models have benefitted us greatly.

Our Uniqueness

Authentic Curriculum

Our curriculum is 100% unique, crafted by a special team of curriculum writers, adapted from the curriculum of the world's leading schools.

Handpicked Tutors

We pick qualified and experienced professionals who pass a demanding application exam and an interview, as well as previous national mathematics examination qualifications (AMC, AIME, MathCon)

Unique LMS

What else makes us distinct? Our virtual classroom software: LEARNx, the newer and better way to communicate with students, developed by our very own founders.

Private Tutoring

MATHx, being a pioneer in its field, also hosts an evening session, X(E), to ensure full grasp of the material. And yes, 😱, it's included for no extra cost.

Close-knit Team

We work day and night to guarantee we can offer the best tutoring services possible.

Managed by Students

MATHx was established by students that had to teach themselves competitive mathematics. We worked like crazy so you don't have to. We know what you need, and how you want it.

Our Classes

All of our classes meet during the summer, from 9-12 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
Students can choose from Session 1 (July 5 - 29) and Session 2 (August 1 - 29). Should students wish, they can take an intensive two month program, using both sessions.
Classes are broken into 85 minute sessions with a 10 minute break in the middle.
Students should assume that homework, although not mandatory, will be given.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
